1. About MotoZA

MOTOZA GROUP (Pty) Ltd ("MotoZA") is a South African online retailer of motorcycle parts and accessories, operating at motoza.co.za. By accessing or using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

2. Consumer Protection Act

These terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA). Where any provision of these terms conflicts with the CPA or ECTA, the relevant legislation will prevail.

3. Orders and Payment

  • All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by MotoZA. We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, with a full refund.
  • Prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT at 15% where applicable.
  • Payment must be made in full before an order is dispatched. Accepted payment methods are listed at checkout.
  • We use secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
  • An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of your order — acceptance occurs when your order is dispatched.

4. Pricing and Availability

While we take every effort to ensure pricing accuracy, we reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If an item is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or system error, we will notify you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order for a full refund.

Product availability is not guaranteed. If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you promptly with alternatives or a refund.

5. Delivery

  • Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to courier, customs, or supplier issues.
  • Local stock (Cape Town warehouse): estimated 3–7 business days nationwide.
  • Internationally sourced parts (Japan/Thailand/Europe via Buffalo Logistics): estimated 3–6 weeks from order date.
  • Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address provided.
  • Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.

6. Returns and Refunds

Under the CPA, you have the right to return goods within 14 days of delivery if:

  • The goods are defective or not as described
  • The goods do not match the sample or representation provided

Returns are subject to the following conditions:

  • Parts must be returned in original, uninstalled, and undamaged condition with all packaging
  • Electrical components, consumables, and custom-order parts may not be returned unless defective
  • Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective or incorrect
  • Refunds are processed within 7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item

To initiate a return, contact us at returns@motoza.co.za with your order number.

7. Fitment and Compatibility

It is your responsibility to confirm that parts are compatible with your specific motorcycle make, model, year, and variant before ordering. MotoZA provides fitment information in good faith but cannot guarantee compatibility in all cases, particularly for modified or non-standard vehicles. We accept no liability for labour costs or consequential losses arising from incorrect part fitment.

8. Warranty

OEM parts carry the manufacturer's warranty. Aftermarket parts carry a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, racing, or normal wear and tear. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MotoZA's liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our website or purchase of products is limited to the purchase price of the relevant product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including loss of use, loss of data, or lost profits.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on motoza.co.za, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to MotoZA. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Brand names and trademarks referenced on our website belong to their respective owners.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

12. Contact

For any questions about these terms, contact us at info@motoza.co.za or via our contact page.
